CAR ASSIST - Upton-on-Severn [Rob Gullen]

Start at Upton-on-Severn, lunch at the Queen's Head, Bromyard - approx 45 miles. 

Parking in the public car park  on the A4104 [Approaching from Pershore - cross the river bridge, bear left, through the High Street shops and the car park is on the right as you leave the village, opposite the church]

NOTE: Start time is 1000 prompt at Upton-on-Severn

This will be a gentle "touring ride" taking in some different countryside - including the stunning crossing of Castlemorton Common towards Ledbury, with a roadside 11s stop, pub lunch and the option of tea and cake at the finish.

This will not be the Upton ride we've done before - the loop is to the north and west with a few lumpy bits before lunch but nothing outrageous - and the last 8 miles are pretty flat.

This ride was to have been on Wednesday 15 March 2017 but having driven the route (and found a suitable pub) there was a road closure in place until 31 March 2017.  Passing on a bike seems possible but is not guaranteed.
