Six of us rode today, initially south-east via Tanworth, Ullenhall and Shelfield before turning towards Norton Lindsey. The ride then seemed to revolve around food which suited me quite well as I was hungry as soon as I'd left home. First it was afternoon tea at Hatton Locks. Then a short blast before pre-dinner drinks at the Navigation in Lapworth. Finally we reached Lady Lane Wharf for dinner before the rain started. 52 miles but possibly a net intake of calories for me.
